WHO WE ARE

Natalie
Training Manager
My role as a Training Manager is to deliver Making The Leap’s in-house core training programme to young adults from the ages of 18-25 years old. In addition to the delivery of the programme, I offer one-to-one career guidance and assist with additional social mobility projects that Making The Leap runs.
To date, I have amassed over 18+ years of work experience across a range of industries including IT, Media, and Recruitment. I’ve witnessed first hand the intricacies of job hunting, and the evolution of the recruitment cycle – which has evolved immensely in the UK. I feel a lot of young people are not abreast with this since guidance on how to obtain work post school completion, for example, is not heavily embedded within most school curriculums. Thus, leaving school or university with good grades will not always necessarily get you “through the door”. What I love about Making The Leap’s training course is that it covers an array of critical work, specifically skills, to better equip and empower young people.
An interesting fact about me...
In 2010 I toured with a theatre company and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival
